Outdoors: Landscape Books Recommended by H. Keith Wagner Partnership

Vermont-based landscape designer Keith Wagner's own residence and gardens, a modern interpretation of a vernacular farmhouse in North Ferrisburgh, Vermont, garnered euphoric reactions from Remodelista readers when we first posted it a while back. Wagner designed the property with Birdseye Design, a design/build outfit, creating a living space surrounded by utility buildings in an open agricultural setting (the project won an AIA Honor award in 2004).

As part of a new Remodelista series, we asked the firm to recommend their five favorite landscape design books (featuring a mix of residential and commercial) to our readers. N.B. To see more of Wagner's work, such as his own house (pictured above), go to H. Keith Wagner Partnership on the Remodelista Architect/Designer Directory.
