I love the stone and steel.
I love stainless kitchens. I think they feel casual and are friendly for a chef-type couple or families who likes to cook. My last kitchen was stainless and my husband and I beat the crap out of it cooking huge dinner parties and family brunches.
When you are cracking up some fresh boiled lobster shells or caning tomatoes wiping up is a breeze.
Also, it only takes a little tile or stone, some ceramic bowls, and a few casual dish towels to warm it up.
