Located in a Georgian terraced house near King's Cross station in London, the Rough Luxe Hotel features a mix of new and old, refined and rough. Gallerist and designer Rabih Hage describes the interiors as "a blend of urban archaeology, partially sanded surfaces, bare floorboards, chipped paint, and rough edges mingled with opulent contemporary wallpaper and modern art plus top-quality furnishings. The texture of the walls celebrates the papering, painting, priming, and patching over the years." Read about the project at Dezeen.
