Hotels, Lodging & Restaurants: Ilse Crawford Olde Bell Inn

Ilse Crawford revamped the interiors of the Olde Bell Inn, an Elizabethan-era coaching inn located in the bucolic Berkshire village of Hurley in the English countryside. Crawford covered the floors with handwoven rush matting, installed Bestlite wall lamps, furnished the rooms with Ercol Windsor rocking chairs, and added a dash of red to the neutral color scheme with a Roberts Revival radio. Any idea where I could find the throw? The shams are great too. I'm in love with the color.

love the window treatment in the bedroom...any hints on hanging a double shade--it looks like that's what's going on, right?

Ilse Crawford is my favourite designer (oh, and how I miss the UK Elle Deco of yore!! It is nothing but a shadow of its former self!), and so I dream of staying here during our next trip to England.
