High/Low: Red Task Light

Alexa Hotz January 30, 2012

We like the way a dash of bright red adds personalty to a studio, an office, or a living area.

When we spotted a vibrant red task lamp in a Portuguese apartment (Baixa House in Lisbon), it prompted us to start searching for red task lamps—here are two options, high and low.

Above: The Anglepoise Original Task Light is $250 from YLighting. Another possibility: Artemide's Tolomeo Micro Color Series Table Lamp in matte die-cast aluminum and steel; $390 from Lumens.

Above: We like the Industrial Task Table Lamp at West Elm, available in black, red, and turmeric (shown above); $69.
