Antiques & Vintage: Military Field Desk

In my teen years, I shopped at Army surplus stores in search of fatigues. Who would have thought of military surplus as a furniture source? Thanks to a reader tip, we found this Old Military Field Desk for $199 (used) or $299 (unused) at Coleman's Military Surplus. I might keep the work surface folded down and use the piece as an office storage chest.

Antiques?! I was using those 6 years ago in the Marine Corps. Then again, that doesn't preclude them from being antiques.
If I get one of these and a small GP tent, I could really relive the good old days...
I have a field office from WW II I am having a rummage sale and want to include it.. What would be a fair price?
Marilu, if you can afford the shipping you might want to consider putting it on Ebay. A rummage sale wouldn't bring you justice in price value. I would start bidding at least at 150. Because WWI items are scarce, it's probably worth 5 times that to a collector.
