Lekker is a Dutch word meaning "alluring, enticing, tempting," an apt description for the offerings at Lekker Home, located on Washington Street in Boston's South End. Owner Natalie van Dijk Carpenter, who has wide experience in the home furnishings business, was born in Amsterdam and lived in Paris and New York before moving to Boston. Carpenter carries some of the best dining tables we've seen, many imported from Belgium, at prices within reach of mortals.

At first glance I thought that was the Pacifica dining table and bench from Crate and Barrel, which only comes in teak and of course not in custom sizes.
The dining table in walnut is just gorgeous.
