As an ex pat of England, of course I wanted an Aga in my kitchen. However, the dream has turned into a nightmare. I went 6 months with a broken thermostat before it was fixed. The big problem for Aga in the USA is that the headquarters for Northern America are in Canada and you have a bunch of people up there who just don't care and have no idea of what to do with an Aga. I've had 4 different companies come out to "try" to fix mine. They always ask me for the manual!! It's actually gotten pretty funny. Have had numerous things go wrong. Again, unless you live in the UK, DO NOT buy this range!!! I am selling mine on Ebay after 6 horrid years and am now buying a Thermador.
