Lena Bergstrom of Design House Stockholm designed these heathered-gray wool rugs and pillows with leather details and trim, which gives them a fine tailored look. “Björk is the Swedish word for birch, a tree that is found all over Sweden and is the symbol of Umeå, the town I grew up in,” Bergstrom says. “I was inspired by the rough black and white trunk, which has a strong graphical structure; the leather edging alludes to the inside of the bark.” The rugs and pillows are available directly from Design House Stockholm.

Above: The Bjork Rug is available in three sizes: the 31.5-by-98.5-inch rug is $250; the 67-by-94.5-inch size is $500; and the 79-by-118-inch size is $750.

Above: The Bjork Pillow, available in light or dark gray, is $350.
