"Buy classic, buy quality, buy less, live simply, live well." That's the tagline of Bainbridge Blues, founded by a trio of women with a history in the interior design and retail business. Designed on Bainbridge Island (a quick ferry ride from Seattle) and made in Italy, Bainbridge Blues' fabrics are woven from 100 percent natural, environmentally friendly fibers in a family-owned Italian mill. The weaves are luxurious, and the patterns and colors are natural, simple, and classic. Available through the following showrooms: De Sousa Hughes in San Francisco, Ann Dennis Designs (714-708-2555) in Costa Mesa, Egg & Dart in Denver, and the Dixon Group in Seattle.

It is hard to find a good linen store in these days. They are very nice. I also would like to recommend nice fabric shop in San Francisco. They have fabulous replicas of 30's patterns. Peapod fabrics.com
Congratulations to Bainbridgeblues - their quality line of textile fabrics are beautiful. The designs are classic in style and the material is soft and durable. I was given a gift of a large pillow covered in the "Katie" design. It was quilted,which added yet another dimention to this great design. I can hardly wait now to design the rest of my bedroom using the fabrics from Bainbridgeblues.
