Located an hour outside of Melbourne, The Estate Trentham is the latest venture from interiors stylist and vintage maven Lyn Gardener of Gardener & Marks. Gardener had been watching the Trentham property market for more than a year when she discovered a 1902 Federation-style house for sale; she made an offer on the spot and proceeded to revamp the property in a matter of weeks.
The three-bedroom boutique guesthouse with wrap-around verandah includes an events barn and a cottage vegetable garden. The interiors are done up in a mix of old and new curated pieces from European flea markets and Gardener’s bag of tricks.
