Those of us who have admired Jess Brown's one-of-a-kind rag dolls will be pleased to find that she has now turned her talents to dressing big girls—and their homes—with the launch of Jess Brown Pieces.

Similar to her dolls, Jess Brown's Pieces collection for women and home possesses a sophisticated blend of rustic simplicity with a distinctly modern vibe. Of particular note are her handmade, lightweight quilts and baby alpaca blankets. Breezy, casual, and utterly individual, they are the perfect covers for summer.

Above: Jess Brown's one-of-a-kind Baby Alpaca Tassel Blankets are available in charcoal and oatmeal; $690.

Above: Made from individual pieces of vintage linen, subtly accented with pretty prints, each throw-sized quilt looks as if it's already been loved for years; $585.

Above: Brown's quilts are available in three palettes: whites, naturals, or grays. Made to order, no two quilts are exactly alike.

Above: The specific size of Brown's throw quilts is also somewhat organic: roughly 68 by 48 inches. Part of the fun is not knowing exactly what your are going to get.

Above: The open knit of this oh-so-soft throw is perfect for the porch or around a campfire.

Above: This just in: New pieces from another of our favorites, Rae Dunn, are also now available from Jess Brown. This Breakfast Set is the first of many that will be available soon; $80.
