Conventional dishwashers are 24 inches wide and 34 inches tall, which can be a challenge in galley-sized kitchens. We recently noticed on Appliancist that Smeg has brought out an innovative, horizontally configured dishwasher (a first in the US appliance market), which measures about 36 inches wide and 21 inches tall.
