Spotted in this month's Metropolis: the Nespresso CitiZ Espresso Machine. At just five inches wide, the CitiZ is well suited to urban domiciles. Designed by Antoine Cahen and made in Switzerland, the CitiZ Espresso Machine is available in cream, red, or gray; $279 at Amazon.

My parents have it in black, it is really quite pretty and small and they are very happy with it.
Pretty, but two friends that have it don't think it steams milk very well. I don't drink espresso so I have no firsthand experience. Online reviews also point to disappointed customers. Maybe Remodelista can do a review of prosumer espresso machines.
