Dualit recently reengineered its iconic toaster from mechanical to electronic operation, the first major upgrade in its 50-year history, and added color to the lineup. The result is a toaster that’s easier to use and more energy efficient in the home kitchen; each toaster is still assembled by hand in England.

PLEASE, PLEASE don't waste your money!! This is, by far, the worst appliance I have ever used. I am house sitting (for 3 years) in a house with this toaster and it never toasts anything how you want it, can't fit a bagel and loses the tops of English muffins! Go to Target and buy a toaster for $19.99 that works great!
