We recently discovered Leonards Antiques, based in Seekonk, MA, and with another store in Westport, CT, a family-owned workshop that specializes in antiques and reproduction furniture. Their specialty is resizing antique beds to accommodate contemporary-sized mattresses (including king size).

They're nice looking objects, but I have to say a non refinished Jenny Lind spool bed brings less than $100 locally. I've got three of them so far, one I pulled off someone's bonfire. Could definitely be cheaper.
Wow, $4,800! I have an antique four poster mahogany bed on Craig's List right now for $285, mint condition, and no interest whatsoever. Can you believe it?!
