Accessories: Indoor/Outdoor Doormats

Sarah Lonsdale January 14, 2010

Winter weather conditions—rain, mud, and snow—are making us think about doormats again (see 10 Easy Pieces Utilitarian Doormats). Here are our favorite mats, both for inside and outside.

Above: For outside, we love the rugged and practical Teak and Stainless Steel Doormat from Skagerak Denmark; $375 at Fixture Universe.

Above: The striped Loop Chilewich Doormat made of vinyl is durable and attractive; a good second line of defense against mud and dirt when positioned inside the doorway; $48 from Chiasso.
