Accessories: Vessels by Erin McGuiness

May 29, 2009

Spotted at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase, hand-coiled ceramic vessels by Erin McGuiness. McGuiness hand-builds all of her one-of-a-kind ceramic sculptures and vessels in her Berkeley, California, studio; the results are both earthy and sophisticated. View the range at Earthworks and get pricing and ordering information. McGuiness’ sculptures are also available to the trade through the De Sousa Hughes showroom at the San Francisco Design Center. Prices range from $375 to $800.

Above: There’s something tribal about McGuiness’ Black Mountain Vessels; a rich deep gunmetal glaze illuminates the texture of scratches and grooves.
