Leave it to the Scandinavians to come up with the sleekest bags made from reclaimed sails we've seen yet (Harri Koskinen of the Block Light is one of the designers). Established in 2008 in Hamari, where the River of Porvoo meets the Finnish Gulf, Save the C is Finland's first sail recycling program; the company collects used sails in cooperation with sail makers, yacht clubs, and sailors and fashions them into stylish bags and totes.
