From Julie
Jorge Alameda from Casamidy, based in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, sent us photos of his latest design: A utilitarian galvanized metal bucket made luxurious with finely crafted leather handles. "I use the pail as a trashcan in my office; the strap is doubled leather so it's very rigid and luxe," he says. The Casamidy Bucket is available directly from Casamidy; the 11-inch high bucket is $60, the 10-inch high bucket is $50, the 8-inch high is $35, and the 7-inch high is $30.

Brilliant and gorgeous!
nice, but would be much more successful if the end of the strap was radiused. The blunt end is not as refined as the leather demands -
