As much as I like fur throws - I think they are misplaced on such special and beautiful chairs like Wegner's Wishbone.

My friend got me one in poland last spring, and the smell DOES NOT want to go away! I've hung it out, days at a time, in the rain etc etc...and it still makes my apartment smell like goat cheese (in a bad way)...
Any suggestions?
I love it, but it detracts from my apartment if it makes smell like a farm!
Dan: A few years back, we used linen napkins while eating smoked trout (never again!), and the fishy smell WOULD NOT go away, no matter how many times I washed them. So I picked up a can of Odorzout [ http://www.88stink.com/ ] and it worked like a charm. I 'm sure that Queen of Clean chick is getting al kinds of kickbacks, and I have no idea what zeolites are, but it worked for me.

...and i have to disagree with connie, they make a special or expensive piece seem less precious and more inviting/comfortable.
