We've featured the work of Oji Masanori before (see Designer Visit: Oji Masanori in Japan), so we were interested to see some of his newer designs at Merchant No. 4. Originally trained as an architect, Masanouri creates simple pieces he calls "Living Products." We especially like his new brass pendants, towel bars, and shelf brackets for venerable Japanese metalworkers Futagami.

Above: Ihada Pendants by Oji Masanori for Futagami are made of cast brass in either a hammered or a smooth finish; prices start at ¥19,950 for the smooth cone-shaped Ihada Pendant.

Above: The Simple Brass Towel Hanger is available directly from Futagami in Japan; the smaller size is ¥3,780 and the larger size is ¥4,410.

Above: Myojo Pendants by Oji Masanori for Futagami are made of cast brass; prices start at ¥18,900 for the smaller size.

Above: Brass Shelf Supports by Oji Masanori for Futagami; the larger shelf support is ¥5,460 and the smaller shelf support is ¥3,780.
