A Silver Lining: Glamorous Eco-Chic Outdoor Furniture

Issue 24 · Channeling Marrakech · June 12, 2012

A few years ago, on a trip to Paris, LA-based Lost & Found owner Jamie Rosenthal spotted a line of teak furniture made in India from recycled materials, including discarded fabric yarns and salvaged plastic. Lucky for us, she discovered a local importer.

Above: The Sal Bar Silver Chair features a reclaimed birch wood frame and woven silver cereal box lining; $275.

Above: The chair measures 42 inches high and 21 inches wide.

Above: With a shape reminiscent of a damru drum, the Sal Stool is made from recycled plastic wrappers; $120 each.

Above: The Multi Sal Bar Chair is $275; currently out of stock but contact Lost & Found for their restock schedule.

Above: The colors change as each twisted metallic wrapper is woven into the chair's backing.
