As the weather turns warmer, favorite potted citrus plants and ferns can move outdoors to get more hours of sun. Even large specimens can be easy to move if you put their pots on wheels.

Take a hard look at your collection of potted plants; you may need rolling plant caddies in a variety of sizes and shapes:

Above: A Lantliv Plant Stand on Wheels is $7.99 from Ikea.

Above: An Aluminum Potted Plant Roller with rubberized locking wheels is 66€ from Manufactum.

Above: A rust-resistant galvanized Socker Rolling Plant Stand is $5.99 from Ikea.

For large potted trees or to hold more than one plant at once, consider a square or rectangular rolling plant stand that can support 200 pounds or more:

Above: A wood Shepherd Plant Dolly designed to hold up to 260 pounds is 18.25 inches long and 12.5 inches wide; it's $28.25 from Amazon.

Above: Cedar Plant Caddys in two sizes (19-by-12 inches and 11.75-by-11.75 inches) will support planters that weigh up to 200 pounds; $19.95 and $16.95, respectively, from Gardeners.

Above: A Terra Stone Caddy, made from recycled plastic, is 12 inches square; it's $17.68 from Bad Dog Outfitters.

Above: A galvanized Single QBO Cube Caster Base coated with a rust-resistant finish does double duty as a plant stand; it is $49 from Container Store.
