Kimberly believes that the dialog between client and architect is crucial to the architectural process. In residential projects analyzing and understanding the client’s lifestyle informs the design. In commercial projects its the program and understanding the spaces functions that drives decisions. The architect’s job is to interpret the clients needs creating a final product that integrates seamlessly with the site, be it a majestic hillside or a historic cityscape. When successful the result is beauty and eloquence. Kimberly provides her clients with the full spectrum of architectural services, taking projects from inception, through design development and construction management. She is very interested in experimenting with new materials, using existing materials in unexpected ways, and in energy efficient and environmentally conscious building means and methods. She also offers her clients a full range of interior design and decorating services.
Kimberly has a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a Masters of Architecture. She is a licensed architect and has been practicing in New York City since 1997. She started her career working for world renown restaurant designer Adam Tihany and the award winning firm of Ogawa Depardon Architects gaining extensive experience at those firms through her involvement in a variety of hospitality, retail and residential projects.
