Remodeling Redux: Whitechapel Ltd. Hardware

August 7th, 2008

From Julie:

We first spotted the wares of Whitechapel Ltd. on Materialicious. Founded by an English-born and -trained furniture maker (now based in Jackson, Wyoming), Whitechapel Ltd. carries a full line of beautifully crafted, historic hardware, much of it imported from the UK. (Read his highly literate Company Profile to get an idea of how seriously he takes his craft.) Despite the relatively high prices, these fixtures are well worth considering for their beauty and heft; it’s amazing how high-quality hardware can upgrade an otherwise so-so kitchen or piece of furniture.
