Steal This Look: London Kitchen

From Julie:

What looks at first glance to be a custom kitchen in London turns out to be a clever amalgamation of off-the-shelf Ikea components. Recreate the look using the elements below:

Children’s Room: Harmonie Interieure

From Sarah:

We confess we’re not always fond of wall decals, but we love the whimsical graphic stickers from French company Harmonie Interieur. Prices start at €22 for a 60 by 35 centimer decal (US shoppers can use PayPal or credit cards); peruse the line at Harmonie Interieure.

Children’s Rooms: Celia Birtwell Fabric

From Julie:

Legendary British designer Celia Birtwell is having a second moment (her first was as a clothing designer in the swinging sixties outfitting the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, and Twiggy) as a fabric and textile designer; she has operated an interior design showroom in Notting Hill since the eighties. Her Beasties and Little Animals fabric and wallpaper has us in raptures. Available at Suzan Fellman Showroom in Los Angeles and Lucy Rose in Chicago. The fabric is also available at UK website Fabrics and Papers for £50 a meter; the wallpaper is £55 per roll. View her entire line at Celia Birtwell, where you can also buy the fabric directly (don’t miss the Sale Bin, where Beasties 100 percent cotton fabric in pink can currently be found for £24 a meter).

Children’s Rooms: Orla Keily–Inspired Bedding

From Janet:

Land of Nod’s new In Bloom Crib Bedding is so reminiscent of the famed Orla Keily Stem pattern that it could be called a knock-off. You certainly can call it a nice look for a baby room that leaves cutesy behind. $220 for the crib set at Land of Nod.

Below: Pay a visit to Orla Keily’s new website, which offers a good introduction to her designs (wildly popular in the UK). Weary parents can sip coffee from coordinated Orla Keily Mugs, £10 at Orla Keily.
