Shopper’s Diary: Atomic Garden
January 14th, 2008
From Julie:
Let’s get it out of the way: the wife of Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has opened a housewares/clothing shop in Oakland. The good news is that Adrienne Armstrong and her business partner, Jamie Kidson, have a great aesthetic. Almost everything in the shop is sustainable, including the reclaimed shelving. We bought a Fog Linen apron; several items from the Japanese textile company are available; tea towels, aprons, napkins, sewing notions. For a tour of the store, go to More Ways to Waste Time.

What a nice surprise — thanks so much for the linkage, Remodelistas!

P.S. Atomic Garden is having a New Year’s sale right now — 20 to 50 percent off.
