House Call: Brooklyn Heights Remodel
Several readers requested more photos of Francesca’s Brooklyn Heights abode (see her kitchen). Located on a historic block in Brooklyn Heights, the brownstone was briefly occupied in the 1930s by Thomas Wolfe. In the seventies it was divided into a dozen warrenlike apartments. Recently, Francesca and Marc, with architect Steven Harris (stevenharrisarchitects.com) and designer Lucien Rees-Roberts (reesroberts.com), restored it to its former glory.
